Ken Personett awarded Historic Liberty’s Preservationist of the Year

Capstone Homes, operated by Ken Personett, has been developing land for residential neighborhoods, building new homes and restoring historic properties in the Kansas City area for over twenty-five years.
Timber Ridge, in Liberty, Missouri is his latest new home development.
Ken holds degrees in physics from William Jewell College, engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and finance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He is a certified Residential Building Contractor. He has twice been named the Outstanding Preservationist by Historic LIberty, Inc. He was named Best Homebuilder in the Northland in 2021. He received the Missouri Preservation’s award from the Missouri Alliance for Historic Preservation in 2022. He is a commissioner on the Liberty Planning and Zoning Board and President of the William Jewell College Board of Governors.
When he is not developing land or building homes or restoring historic properties, Ken is an avid runner, swimmer, and granddad.
